Hello everyone! First of all let me introduce myself. My name is Tair Galili and I am an undergraduate math major, right now, I am in my senior year. During my time at the university, I was exposed to many different topics in math which made me realise how great math is.
nevertheless, as you might know, math can be very challenging and intimidating, and as a student, I try to develop all kinds of different methods in order to understand the material and feel more comfortable with it.
Some of the methods that I have done so far are: writing notes (which is not that original), write notes to my notes, I have tried to implement some things on the computer, made visual animations and I even made a game that brings the theory of Graph as an approchable mobile game.
Well, as another method, I now decided to create this website, I am going to upload posts that discuss topics that I am currently learing, and I belive it will help me for the following reasons:
- When I write about math, it helps me to understand the material better.
- When I write on a public site that is visible to everyone, I feel responsibility for the things that I write, which is why I’ll do my best effort to bring the material as clear and bright as I can. However, in order to do so, I must trully master the material.
- Writing posts while trying to make them as approchable as possible, will improve my ability to explain and make things clearer to other people. In my opinion such an abilty is extremely essential
